Noele Dodson-DeSafey

I’m Noele, named for my grandfather Noel, not Christmas. I am a wife, mother, fan of the Princess Bride and chocolate addict.

I’m a creative and maker by nature – crafter, seamstress, baker, cheesemaker – Pinterest was definitely designed with me in mind!

Most importantly though, I am a photographer and would love to be YOUR photographer. I started taking college classes while still in high school and went on to get a degree in Fine Art Photography. My never-ending love of photography and pursuit of education has taken me across the country over the years. I have studied with some of the best in the industry – including some of the top fine art, celebrity and Sports Illustrated photographers in our industry today.

I have over 25 years of portrait experience, beginning with children and “80’s glamour” and have had studios in both Yuba City and Roseville. I am currently a studio photographer in Roseville with more backgrounds than I can count or should even admit to owning – but this does offer you tremendous variety. I also have an ever-expanding style closet and love custom designing a session and look just for you!

Portraits are the one item that people grab in a disaster (fire, flood, etc.). They are the first thing people look for when they lose a loved one and they are one of the best ways to boost esteem and confidence in both children and adults alike. It would be my honor to work with you to create images that you are proud to display now and will be passed down for generations to come.
